Activities
Friday, July
16 Check
in as early as 4 p.m. Bring finger food or dessert to share from 6
p.m. on. Dancing begins at 8 p.m.
Saturday, July 17 Dancing and workshops throughout the day followed by a full evening of dancing. Optional canal boat ride in the morning.
Workshops will probably include percussion, foot massage; history
hike; waltz; English country; and a callers workshop.
Sunday, July 18 Rise Up Singing and dance activities in the morning.
During brunch, more contra dancing until 3 p.m.
Bring a water bottle
If temperatures are high, you will want to be prepared to drink plenty of water while you are dancing.
The hall is air-conditioned plus we provide mammoth fans
for additional cooling.
Expenses
Cost of the weekend is $95. ($80 for those under 25) The cost includes beverages and other
refreshments, breakfast and light buffet lunch on Saturday and and
brunch on Sunday.
An optional Saturday evening meal is available for $14. You are
responsible for your own sleeping arrangements. (See the "Lodging"
page for suggestions.)

Food
Bring dessert or finger food to share on Friday night. Ample
continental breakfast and lunch buffet provided on
Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday night you have the
option of an onsite catered meal or eating elsewhere. There
are numerous restaurants in the area. Park picnic shelters
have grills; electric campsites have fire pits.

Coshocton is home to
two catering companies, neither of which is experienced in meeting the needs of
our many vegetarian & vegan dance friends. While we do our best try to
modify the caterers’ menus to better meet special dietary requests, the
result has been unsatisfactory to some in the past. Additionally, the
very limited kitchen facilities at Lake Park Pavilion require us to enjoy
foods which can be prepared off-site by our loyal local caterers. Please
consider this when deciding whether or not to select the optional Saturday
night banquet.
